Veron's Back! / Random School Life / Artikulation 2012

Hey guys! Today's post is gonna be a treat coz there will be lots of pictures hehe. Of course, those who added me on facebook would have already seen these, its just gonna be a summary of those photos. Oh, new photos from random school life will be added too, so look out for those! :D

First part, Veronica's arrival back to Singapore. You have no idea how long Ive waited for her to come back, and now that she is finally back, OH YEAH. Unfortunately Artikulation and other school stuff has been taking up a ton of my time, so I only got to see her for a few times before she headed back to Australia just yesterday. :( Anyway, here are the pics in chronological order:

Picking Veron up from the airport! :)

Cool gifts from Aussie hehe. LOVE the book!

My OOTD. Super dressed down coz i couldnt be bothered to walk in heels for 8 hours (like I usually do)

I LOVE this picture, we look so good :3

Haha Veron's face.

One last picture before she goes back! T.T Check out her new jacket from topshop! According to her, she made her parents 'shua ka', so anything you want, just use that term hahaha.

Next up, School Life.

I had the privilege of donating blood to help others recently since the whole blood donation bank came to the school. It was an exhilarating experience to say the least, but could do with much more comfort.

The long winded form we had to fill out before going for a blood test. Includes questions loke whether you have HIV.

Was sitting beside Wei Min while donating. It hurt like hell when the nurse squeezed the blood pressure tester thing around my arm and refused to let it loosen. My whole arm turned numb. But please dont let this discourage you from donating blood, the pain is only for two minutes and worth it. The process of poking the huge needle through your veins and having the blood stream out doesnt hurt at all. (no irony there)

Did I mention that it is extremely disturbing to look at a whole bag of your own blood.

Other random things my friends do to me during class:

This is my thigh and the red part is due to the fact that i sat like an ah beng. Goh Qian saw that it was a perfect circle and decided to add a smiley on to it.

This is what happens when you dont keep your foolscap paper properly when going up to the board during literature to write stuff. Oh, and that bird is supposed to represent angry birds. That Melissa Foo.......

ARTIKULATION 2012!

Oh my gosh, everyone in MEP, graduated or not, have all been working extremely hard for this day. For my trio, I kind of screwed up a few places and it was really obvious because the violin is all high and prominent (not to mention screechy) but overall i think we did not bad. Not the best though, I thought all the singers stole the show that night. Anyway, All the gals looked so chio that night. Chris and I were the (self-appointed) makeup artists for the J1s and Kimberly was everyone's hair stylist. She did an awesome job with my hair, creating all the girls, and when i pulled it back, it looked absolutely perfect. Here are the pictures:

Annalisa!! :D The one who scores high for Asian every time LOL. Lovely girl <3

With the coolest girl in J1 MEP, reason being that she handles 3 H2s plus 1 H3 on top of SNYO and becoming our current Strings president and still manages to pass most of her subjects. *highest respect* helps that she has a gossipy side too hehe ;)

Weitian! I think she is the senior im most comfortable with in MEP. :)  Thanks for being a cool and talented friend!!

This is Song Wei, a J3 i think. She is so beautiful and sings so well, and I wanna rip the dress off her. Beauty + Fashion + Talent = Deadly combination.

The forever friendly and funny Yiying who brings laughter and joy wherever she goes due to her figure of speech xD She plays both her piano and violin really well, so its interchangeable for her (unlike me whose piano is lagging far behind)

Elisa, Clarissa's vocal Goddess xD I love her voice and her performance of that La Boheme song was my personal fave performance in Artikulation.

Vivian, my rather long time friend since secondary school <3 She has always been there for me and treats me really well, extremely grateful towards this girl. Let's continue like this forever!

MELISSA THE CUTIE! Oh, she's the same Melissa who vandalised my foolscap. (LMAO)

Michelle Mintoro, the performer. My parents say that she has a sort of class about her, and i totally agree. She is also the older sister of one of my classmates in music last year!

Muriel!!!! Omg, love this gal, has a ton of talent hidden in that petite body of hers. So nice and cute too hehe xD

NICOLE MAH BABY! An unexpected super badass gal who is down to earth and hardworking (which I really admire and wanna be), she's one of the closest friends I have in JC, always looking out for me. Really wanna treasure this friendship for years to come, coz it's worth it.

Oh, what else can I say that you can't already see? Rachel is a chiobu who is so musical. Sings well, composes well, and her Strings Fusion was critically acclaimed by audiences that night. Congrats!!

Lee Khim, our friendly MEP rep! Thanks for helping us face the madams so that we dont have to! :D (btw, i look really good here, dont you think? ;) )

Kim, the fashionable and multi-talented senior. i'm still so grateful for the awesome hairdo she gave me. Oh, and her flute playing is even better, check her out.

Photo of me with sexed-up hair from Kim :)

Pre-performance Piazolla trio! We look totally hot, no?
And yes, every time i stand with these two I feel the slightest bit of intimidation because they are my CCA presidents..... J1 and J2. It's ok, I will live up to their standards!

Post performance: YEAH WE DID IT!
Weitian said that we look constipated.

THe only guy MEPer I managed to snap a picture with. Eccentric but excellent pianist Joshia. What I like about him is that he is extremely patient and doesnt get offended easily, something that I have to learn.

The string ensem guys! I am really not short. Joshua's a freaking 190cm so he's totally not counted.

After the concert sitting @ Sauce Restaurant. Loving this pic because my eyes look really big. :)

Oh, and for those of you who couldnt be bothered to come for the concert, my parents took a video of my trio performing our item. It is pretty messy at some places and my intonation sounds kind of horrible at other parts but overall it is quite a good listen, do give it a try! here's the video below:

On a side note, my aunt said that I look like an angel when I'm on stage, then degraded to a devil's child off stage due to the way that i dress. Why should my clothes change my personality? :P

Defying Conventions.

Yeah, that's the phrase that I have been using over and over again in music assignments haha. Everyone is so fascinated by how Beethoven broke the classical 'rules' and created revolutionary music that would spawn a whole new era of classical music, ie the Romantic period.

This is not only seen in music alone though. Fashion has seen its evolution through generations, and none has made it more prominent than Coco Chanel, who loved her comfort and practicality but still retainined class and elegance.

Chanel broke the norms of women's fashion in the 1920s/1930s, where she made suits and PANTS (gasp, the horror) for women. Her rationale was that fashion should be comfortable, and come on, no one rides horses wearing skirts... But, what respectable french woman in that era would wear pants? Completely indecent, even rude. Oh, and the introduction of the iconic little black dress which became so immensely popular that up till today it is still being made as a fashion statement? It was used to be worn specially for funerals.CRAZY that it should be worn on daily occasions.

That's why, it kind of puzzles me to see so many people are hating on Alice Dellal, the new face of Chanel Boy (it's a handbag). Here's a picture of her in the ad campaign:

A pure indigenous rocker, rather infamous for taking her top off during a concert as well as drinking alcohol. The rest of her family are famous (and sane) people in the fashion industry.

Many people on youtube and blogs are ranting about how Alice 'destroys' Chanel's classy image coz she is a trashy tattooed wannabe, or how Karl Lagerfeld is an annoying bitch who doesnt know how to choose a proper model. Oh oh and the ironic one: 'I'm 23 years old and will continue to wash my hair daily (unlike the look of her) and wear pretty tea dresses and cardis. IF the fashion daaaahlings don't like that, well stuff them!'

BITCH PLEASE. Good God, the fakest bitch ever, not everyone has to look all sweet and girly to be fashionable, everyone has their own individual style, and the worst part is you dont even SOUND the part. I can totally imagine you saying in a high pitched irritating blood boiling voice: 'pretty tea dresses and cardis'. Dont make me puke thanks. You didnt have to be so rude, totally doesn't go well with the 'tea dress' look you want to pull off. Btw, her hair is awesome, so you can suck on that.

These comments are rather contradictory to what Chanel did almost a century ago. Chanel is now recognised as classy and elegant, but was it really what people ages ago thought of Chanel's clothes then? Of course, she worked hard to get where she was, but that doesnt mean that she had always been recognised for all her life. Pants weren't exactly considered to be sophisicated, just in case you didn't know.

What I see in this ad campaign is Karl Lagerfeld trying to push the boundaries (like he always does) and bring a breath of fresh air and youth to the restricted, forever prim and perfect world of high fashion. Doing something others have never thought of. After all, defying conventions is what it is all about. Alice Dellal is a true blue tattooed rocker whom Largefeld himself thought was the perfect representation of the cool vibe that Chanel boy was supposed to bring. Sophistication with an edge, why not? I dont see how in any way she is destroying Chanel's image, especially when she is not doing anything illegal. She doesn't even curse in interviews!

Oh and those of you who are dissing Karl, if you are so clever, try and take over his position. You'll crumble in a fucking two seconds in his big ass shoes. Oh, and even if you were to survive, people will get bored of you in just two seasons. Otherwise, you would have already been as established as he is.

End of my perspective section today, hehe it's so fun to give my opinions on issues such as this, especially when so many people are bullshitting like they know it all (and when in actual fact havent even done their homework).

Anyway, gonna pick Veron up from the airport in a few hours, cant wait to see her! <3

Oh and guys, check out Adam's performance with Queen in Ukraine, you WILL NOT REGRET. So phenomenal a performance, it brought me to tears. The intonation was a little wonky at the last few songs but it doesnt really affect his overall performance. AS EXPECTED <3

Anyway, MEP concert is coming up, im so nervous coz im putting so much pressure on myself to put up a good show for the people i have invited >.< Practising really hard for you guys! :D

See you later people!

Sometimes, I just feel....

I know I shouldnt feel this way, but I just do.

Lonely that is.

Well, not lonely as in no friends kind of lonely, because I have more than enough lovely people from everywhere to keep me company.

But everyone is so busy falling in love, and everywhere I turn there is bound to be some couple acting lovey dovey. *disclaimer: if it sounds like you, please dont take it personally, im just saying as a whole LOL. Even if some girls arent in any relationships, there are tons of guys wanting to chase after them. Yeah so many of my friends are like that. Im really genuinely happy for them, after all, such nice people deserve all the love they can get. Then, at the back of my head, a little voice will pipe up: Hey, what about me?

I have thought up of all possibilities that I cant find anyone to love yet, and one of them points to my less-than-ideal figure. Yeah, being skinny does equal to being beautiful. I have never thought of myself as obese (because im not, im just chubby), but compared to those getting into relationships so easily? Yeah im a rhino. And for some reason, no matter how much I assure myself that it will be okay, my heart will still kind of break while feeling abandoned. Oh, and the fact that my mum emphasises how fat I am everyday (just because she only weighs a few hundred grams heavier than me) doesnt make me feel any better.

Maybe it is coz of my personality. I tend to just shut up when I have nothing else to talk about, and maybe people will think im boring. And this happens so many times even among my best of friends (who of course are very understanding and still choose to stay friends) that I feel so frustrated at myself. Also, whenever I open my mouth, I have to make sure that whatever comes out is either cool or funny. And sometimes, I just completely flop. Which is embarrassing.

Whenever some girls go: Oh, they like me? But only them? Why cant some other guy fall for me? And ill be like, fuck you, ungrateful little bitch. You have no idea how hard it is for nobody in the past sixteen years of my life to like you.

Which is also why I turned to fashion. Maybe its a form of liberation? For people to admire what I put on myself? It's almost like a mask. If I had someone who would stand by me and love me for who I am, what I look like and my flaws, I probably wouldnt even have started my relationship with clothes.

Nowadays, Im in a huge struggle against my weight, and im trying to curb it by eating less and walking more. But the more I restrict myself, the more I eat -.- ARGH. Someone save me.

Ok,emo post over. Time to research more on Stravinsky and Rimsky Korsakov.... Im so screwed for terms coz I just wasted my June hols away doing literally nothing. Bye gals and boys, will be up with (hopefully) an outing post with the three most important gals (family and God excluded) in my life. Harry Potter exhibition ftw!!

UPDATE: Aw, just received a caring text from an awesome friend. Im elated to see that my friends are actually really concerned about me, which gives me all the more reason not to groan and whine about how I dont have a boyfriend, becuase honestly, who needs one when you have such good people around you? Appreciate your friends, they dont come easy.

So much for critical thinking. -.-

This post is gonna be based on this article: http://theonlinecitizen.com/2012/06/sajc-students-blog-causes-controversy/

Recently, there has been this huge hoo-ha over an SAJC guy hurling vulgar words at the our country's minister. The SA student initially apologised for using crude language but still stood by his stand of the minister's lack of response to the students' questions. However when he got 'counseled' by his school (i think) and was it along with other ministers? he had a magical change of heart and decided to delete his two blogposts on this subject, and even met with the minister to apologise to him. His friend stated that no one knew what had happened behind those close doors when the counselling session was taking place, but he was clearly shaken after that whole ordeal.

Firstly, let me make it clear that I am pro-PAP, have always been, and always will be. After all, they have been governing our country for 40 over years, they are the ones who know how to run the country best. And i think its best for them to continue to run the country.

However, this whole issue has left me feeling rather disgusted at how the government insiders chose to handle the situation.

Firstly, the 'fuck you sir' comment was made on that guy's blog, and not directly to the minister himself. He was not being rude in any way, just trying to express his dissatisfaction, which obviously couldn't be put in any other way because the other words weren't strong enough. I couldnt read the whole blog post because it was already deleted, but based on the screenshots, that was the only comment that was rude and vulgar. The rest of the post seemed to be intelligently written and well thought out. People instead chose to zoom in at that tiny little comment and say all kinds of things like 'Oh his parents didnt bring him up well' (well maybe not to that extent but the gist of it is definitely there) and all sorts of other nonsense.

Like hello, he isnt the only teenager who uses the f-word, and most of us use that word as a figure of speech. Oh, and we are no longer in the days where 'shit' is considered a swear word. Lesson for the SAJC kid? Well, there are lessons for the minister to learn too.

Many people liked the guy's blog post, and for good reasons. Condemning the minister for not answering the questions and instead throwing them back at the students? Seems legit. The minister defended his actions by saying 'I'm trying to get them to think more', and IMO, that's complete bullshit. Yeah, students should try to come up with solutions themselves, but like many people said/commented, (direct quotation from the TOC news report) ' the PUS showed that the latest generation of youth could not be accused of being apathetic and ambivalent about local issues.'
EVEN IF they could come up with solutions, the minister should at least give his own response to the questions for a clearer perspective, instead of merely giving a statement as vague as 'What do you think?', and expect students to be pleased with that answer. No, dear minister, it is not called nurturing young fine minds, it's just called being lazy.

It is really sad how this SA student has to go through this somewhat traumatising situation just because he freely spoke his mind. It's good that he had a change of mind and decided to be all 'pro-governent and their actions', but somehow, I cant help but feel that he wtas forced into it. Is that what he truly felt? Or was he threatened to do so? I mean, I dont think one can change his/her mind in just a few days. (gotta admit that I am putting this in a very nice way so that i wont get bashed or anything)

This just goes to show how much freedom of speech we have in Singapore, or rather, the lack of it, especially when the government will go so far as to come on down so hard on a student (to hide an obvious sign of incompetency) to maintain their godly status. We all have to be very careful as to what we say about the government, especially the smarter, more successful young ones. After all, we will be running the country in the future. Any sign of rebellion amongst these people, *target locked. destroy*.

The government doesnt do anything to those people who insult them without any depth eg. The worker's party is so much better! or Fuck PAP bunch of idiots, because they are just not worth it. Why fight with a bunch of seemingly uneducated, even stupid people who only know how to curse? But when it comes to a smart, well-versed young man who provides strong stands to his argument, oh, you better watch out.

Yup. End of my little rant. Anyway, Im typing this on my new laptop. I love it SOOOO much, gotta thank Ronnie for recommending me an ASUS lappie. See ya next time guys. :)

Living by My Own Rules. Fashion-wise.

Hey guys, I havent blogged for a long time, so sorry about that.

*WARNING: Im gonna be really wordy, but if you take the time to read this you might find that it is worth it.... But oh God a fashion post without pictures is like Lady Gaga without her 10 inch heels....... it just aint right. Anyway...

Today's post is gonna be about how I perceive style, as well as what I think of the Singapore fashion scene (plus some of my own rules when it comes to clothes for anyone who is willing to let me share). It is actually inspired by the bus ride I had just today on the way to the IT fair.

I was clad in a leopard print top, some acid wash mini shorts and my usual black blazer, along with my black boots (mah babies) and some strange accessories that I threw on. Pretty rocker huh? Then, I inched nearer towards the end of the bus, and saw two Indian women wearing very similar (and yet so different) outfits to mine. You know the top where it's black, but has leopard print at the buttons area and the collar? Very typical bugis merchandise. Yeah, that and dark wash jeans and some nordic print tote paired with flats. (I guess these women were BFFs or sisters, they wore the exact same thing)

We looked totally different, and i think i looked kind of better :P Although my fats were bursting out of those shorts but that is a totally different matter altogether..... (excuses)

What is so different about our outfits that made us look so different from each other? Maybe it is our way of thinking.

How I perceive style is that it should be a form of expression. What are you trying to tell people when you dress this way? Oh and now you might think: That's how everyone in fashion thinks. Well, for me, I'm trying to express my emotions and play a character all at the same time. One day I am totally dark, angry and vengeful, so I would wanna be a mysterious goth vampire, another day I am feeling really happy and sweet, and my ladylike, cute persona comes out, and on other days I just cant be bothered about anything else except to just chillax, and a rock star it is.

Of course, I would be lying if I said that I dont put a lot of thought in putting together my outfits. My outfits are almost to the point where they can become stage costumes, but I try to wear them tastefully such that they are still suitable for everyday life, so as you can see, I have a huge task to handle.

It wasnt only until last year that I started to think this way. Before that, it was a long hard struggle of trying to fit in, buying all the teenage fashion magazines in desperation of finding trendy stuff that other people will consider fashionable. Looking back at my past fashion choices, I never fail to facepalm at those. Good God, what the fuck were you thinking Theodora?
Then, in Sec 3, I was introduced to ViVi, and thats where fashion started to make more sense to me. What it was about the outfits that made Japan one of the six main powerhouses of fashion. In sec 4, I started deviating from the sweet, girly styles of the Japanese to the more sophisticated, elegant fashion of the runway. I knew that the clothes from runway set the trend every season, but they were the work of such talented, famous designers. Their creativity knows no bounds (wait that is another debate altogether, fashion is accused of being on repeat coz designers cant come up with anything new lmao). Whatever it is, they set the rules in the industry, and I very much wanted to break out of those chains, I just didnt know how.

I gotta give thanks to lookbook for introducing me to SO many amazing people, like Bobby Raffin, Adam Gallagher, Shan S, Luanna P, Lina Tesch and Bebe Zeva, because they have all taught me one thing: FUCK the rules, you can do whatever you wanna do and look good and stylish. Anyway, it seems like I have been preaching this over and over again, but the thing is, not many people GET IT. Everyone still goes back to the same old, same old, especially in Singapore. Everyone follows the trends, and not even in the right way. Afraid of getting bashed or stomped, fashion has become rigid. Well, below are some tips on how to conform and yet deviate in terms of style that I have sort of invented. Not necessarily true for other people though.

My current 'rules' that I follow (I made them up myself, and I think it serves me very well):

1. Stay far. far. far. away from local blogshops. Eg. KISSjane, Eternityloft, Miss Queenie, The Design Closet etc.

-The only good things they sell are work related clothes. For casuals and party clothes, the designs are way too simple and boring, and they are all in the same old colours. Oh, and also because they use the same fabric for almost every single piece they manufacture, and not that it is of very good quality (crumples far too easily), nor is it very well made.

- at least 70% of women in Singapore think that these clothes are the 'in' thing, so to set yourself apart, you shouldnt be buying those clothes.

- some local bloggers even get the COLOURS wrong when promoting these items. One example is a top that is a shade of lime and that particular blogger put it as mustard. FAIL

2. Quality, quality, quality.

 - It is not advisable to purchase stuff that are really cheap because they come apart after wearing them a couple of times, and the designs arent really pleasing to the eye in the first place.

- Well, I kind of close one eye to clothes like tops, shorts and skirts because I cant afford expensive fast fashion. Besides, I get good deals at Bugis for these items. BUT, for clothes like jackets, blazers, jeans/pants, I dont usually spend less than $40 (the bare minimum) on them. These pieces of clothing will last you forever, best to get some good expensive ones than some fugly looking cheap ones that wont last long.

- Oh, and SHOES, it really depends. High heels and boots: Minimum $35. Better ones cost around $100 plus as can be seen in high-street brands. Dont scrimp on shoes! However, slippers/flip-flops: maximum you should be spending is probably $10. They all look the same, whether they are from the market or from Havanias.  Which brings me to my next point....

3. NO FLIP FLOPS. NO WAY.

- This is the one trend in Singapore i REALLY don't get. Why cant you slip into a pair of cute flats or sneakers or even some well designed sandals when there are so many designs available in the market? WHY FLIP FLOPS? Are you just too damn lazy to tie the shoelaces or reach down to buckle the sandal?

- This is the number one type of shoe that makes you look sloppy. IMO, its worse than crocs. And crocs is said to be the number one way of protecting yourself from getting laid.

- Talking about this, one local blogger did a photoshoot for a local blogshop in SLIPPERS. Yeah, sure, they might be from Old Navy, but they are slippers. Nobody should EVER do that, it is a hideous insult to the fashion world.

- Well, the only time we are ever allowed to wear these things are to the wet market, and the beach.

4. Look for interesting details.

- Whether its the fabric, the embellishments, the print or even the design, each piece of clothing you own should have some interesting elements to it that makes it unique. As for me, I love lace. White, black, mint, empress, french, floral, crochet, all kinds of lace. Oh, and I love tulle and leather too. These are the fabrics I cant live without. Prints like leopard and florals are a no brainer, just choose those that arent too mainstream or too flashy.

- Im really into graphic tees nowadays, any kind of tee that has a vintage vibe will make me wanna pounce on it ASAP. Just recently I bought a black Marilyn Monroe printed tee, a Rolling Stones tee (RARE LIKE FUUU, its selling for like 100 plus on eBay, but I got it at a reaaaaalllly good price ;) ), and a slogan like graphic tee. I really want to get the Guns and Roses tee from H&M, but dunno whether it has already sold out.... :( vintage tees FTW!

5. The right colour combinations are extremely important.

-Another mistake that many people make is that they think you can pair any coloured dress with any coloured shoes. And the result is horrifying. That is why I still look towards runways for the colour trends occasionally.

- I saw a girl wearing a mint green dress with bright red and white flats the other day, and i was facepalming to no end. Yeah, I can tell that she is trying to be trendy by colourblocking, but girl, do it in the right way. I believe that when colour blocking, the colours should come under the same family, like bright with bright and pastels with pastels. Not unless you are a pro and know exacly what you are doing, like those from the arts who work with colour daily. Only they can pull it off.

- My favourite colour combinations are pastels and black. Baby pink, lavender, beige, lemon, even mint goes so well with black. And im taking into consideration my hair. Its my most important accessory. And its black. I also think monochrome colours go well with gold, but I prefer to not mix any other colour with black and white.

-Sometimes, I even just go with all black or all white ensembles. It isnt boring, unlike what many people think. You can do so much just by changing the fabrics, textures and designs. Imagine, A sexy leather and lace dress with black booties and a black floppy hat, and all of a sudden a garish metallic hot pink clutch comes outta nowhere and scares everybody. Not a very good idea.

-Oh, and the worst colour combi is black and brown. It was a fashion rule before that was apparently broken, but I choose to stick to that rule. It is seen on way too many people, especially ah lians, in Singapore. And it doesnt look good at all. Well it did, 5 years ago when nobody knew about it.

6. Get inspiration online.

-Unfortunately, Singapore aint New York, where everywhere you turn, there is something new and happening. Singapore is a very trendy place, but not necessarily unique. Well, we have something called the internet now, and there are tons of images for you to dig and search, you just need to put in the effort. For me, I love fairytales and renaissance art, and more recently more rock and death metal images. You can get so much more from an artwork than a picture of someone's outfit.

7. Last, but I think the most important, TAKE RISKS.

- Yeah, even I look like a wreck sometimes, but it is so much better to look way out of the box than sticking to the usual, the conventions, and the norms and look totally boring. If u wanna rock something, do it! Be free. (By the way, when I say free, I mean staying far away from local blogshops. Really.)

Yepp. This is the end of my super wordy post. Thanks for reading patiently for those who really did! :) As for those who didnt..... oh well, its alright. Lol.

See ya next time lovelies! <3

A dear friend / Kronos 2012

A dear friend.

I went out with Hwai Mun last week and boy did we have a good time! It has been so long since I last met her in December. She and I both started school already, so if we didnt meet then, we would never meet again for the rest of the year. I thought: screw homework! She's more important. Hehehehe.

With the pretty gal!

Muacks <3

Epic faces  are epic.

Outfit of her day!
(SHIT blur >.< sorry mun!)

Outfit of my day!

There were so many things to shop for in Bugis. Mun needed to get some flats and something for her mum but being a bad influence i convinced her to buy other things like tops and a dress. Oh dear. But there's no denying that the vintage shop we went into was just AWESOME. :) Well, there's always next time, right? :/

We talked about so many things and sometimes even blabbed nonsense (most of them coming from me). Love this girl, she is so precious. Cant wait to see her again. Oh, and I must mentioned that some guys tried to ask for her number but unfortunately even I wouldnt approve of them so... too bad :P WHEN ARE GUYS GONNA CHAT ME UP HUH? Probably never, which is why I leave love to fate and destiny.

I ADORE my galaxy skirt. It is so soft and ethereal, and hides my fats really well.

Hehe Hwai Mun my darling, we would meet again <3

Kronos 2012

Yeah, yesterday was Kronos, the day all the stringers were practising like shit for. It was a wonderful time for all of us, Im sure, even though we didnt play as well as we could have. Most of my OG mates went to support me, Chris and Brendan, they are SUCH awesome people. Sarah and Adlina were also there, and they gave me flowers! *touched for life* In secondary school , I have never received any flowers. NEVER. Anyway, here are the pics:

I had a REALLY bad cold during the rehearsal and used up almost 2 packets of tissues, and my contacts werent helping, hence the extremely blur look on my face.

All the girls!

Pretty Chris!

Waseh, the deadly combi of two J1 chiobus arm in arm.

My precious MEP friends! Lol Yingyin's photo isnt very flattering. PS!

My funny SL! She is so talented I cant stand it >.<

Pretty and smart president! she is such an inspiration to me.

Ham-sum Nataniel :P

Tessa! Fellow V2 mate :)

With violin pro Celia. Seriously, she makes high notes look like they are so easy.

The stringers from the same OG!
Haha wth Brendan. At least remove the paper when biting the rose.

With next year's concertmaster. :) I know it already.

 YEAH my AWESOME OG mates!

 Love you guys <3

Happy conversations.

My dear family who came to support me! <3

And lovely photo with my parents to end it ^.^
